1 – Determine territory availability – minimum 15 miles away from nearest Machida Karate Association

2 – Participation in the annual Machida Karate Instructor Certification Program (ICP) 

• • Provide proof of brown or black belt in Traditional Japanese or Okinawa.
  • KarateDemonstrate teaching proficiency in Traditional Japanese or Okinawa Karate.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Traditional Japanese or Okinawa Karate.
  • Minimum age 15 years. 

3 – Complete the Association Application Form & additional documentation:

• • Clear background check (owner and employees)
  • Proof of Business Insurance (certification)
  • Proof of Business License 

4 -If approved, complete License Agreement, Youth Protection Policies and Procedures and the Waiver/ Release/ Assumption of risk signed, as well as the  payment of the 1st monthly association fee of $150.
